Problem(Abstract)
How to get detailed AIX® version, fileset and maintenance level
information.
Resolving
the problem
To determine the version: oslevel Notes:
·
If your AIX system is below 3.2.4, you will not have the
"oslevel" command on your system, and your AIX Version is 3.
·
If the "oslevel" command is on your system, notice the
first field of its output.
·
This will be "3" or higher, and is your AIX Version.
For example, if "oslevel" returned "4.3.0," your system is
at Version 4.
To determine the fileset Version:

To determine the exact maintenance level of

# instfix -ciqk
  4330-09_AIX_ML | grep ":-:" |
